COVID-19 Safety

As a photojournalist and a storyteller, I am concerned first with the physical and mental safety of the people involved in all of my projects. In the time of COVID-19, this has never been more important. Here are a few of the ways I am committed to safety throughout all my projects:

1. Commitment to COVID-19 Safety Protocol

I am following all COVID-19 safety protocol required from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, both in and out of the classroom. This includes maintaining social distance, wearing either a face shield or a KN-95 mask when working with others, and more.

2. Consistent COVID-19 Antibody Testing

Students attending classes on Syracuse University's campus are subject to pooled saliva exams every two weeks along with a daily screening form. Results from these tests will be posted here as updates arise.

  • Vaccination Status: Pfizer

    • First dose administered 04/30/21​

    • Second dose scheduled 05/22/21

I have never been diagnosed with COVID-19 nor tested positive on any COVID-19 detection test. Furthermore, I have not been symptomatic and I have not traveled outside of Central New York in the past 12 months.

To my knowledge, I have not been in direct contact with a positive or symptomatic individual.

3. Commitment to Individual Safety

I will be monitoring my health daily and avoiding contact with people outside of my social bubble whenever possible. Furthermore, I will notify all subjects of changes in my health if concerns arise. 

If you would be more comfortable working with me after a more recent COVID exam, please let me know.

My priority is your comfort and safety. I am only willing to work in a way that ensures you are feeling both comfortable and safe.

4. Safe Sets Certified

I am Safe Sets Certified, signifying that I have been quizzed on my knowledge for proper COVID-19 protocol during productions.
